Culture Of Romanians Can Be Amazing

Culture of Romanians has its specific story, told by the geographic and historic context of its evolution. Romania is the only Latin country inhabited by orthodox Christians, keeping in the same time their Roman origins.

Science Project - The Rush For the Perfect Project

Right now you may feel hurried because of the beginning of the year and your child now came home with the science project assignment due in just a few short weeks.

Everyone wants to do a unique project that no one has ever done or seen before because they feel it will give them an edge on the competition and ultimately a perfect score or grade of an A.

Some important things to remember when dealing with this is simplicity, ease of tasks and believable end product.

The old adage, keep it simple, is really true in this scenario. You do not have to complete an elaborate or complex project for it to be successful. There does not have to be 20 different steps in the science demonstration. What it does need to do is be believable and understood by the student.

The student needs a science project in which they understand what they are trying to prove and when they get the answer they understand why this happened. Do not fall into the trap of making things so complicated. If your child does not understand the project they will have a hard time convincing the judges and the teacher the theories behind the experiment.

Important things to remember:

  • Pick a project that is simple and does not require something that you must do.
  • The student should be the one completing the project. They can have a little of your help but ultimately they need to do the project
  • Do not make it beyond their level. Make it a challenge for them but not too complex they do not even understand it.
  • Do something they can easily demonstrate at the fair.
  • Let them have the success. The whole point of doing a science project is for kids to learn and discover how things work and why.
  • Support their efforts and do not stress. If you stress about the project it will not be any fun for your child.

Look for a science project that can be completed in a day or a couple of hours. You can even do one that is an overnight project. These keep the child interested and they can have more time to work on a colorful poster and display.

One big thing is do not wait until the last minute to try to prepare the science project. If the idea is a flop you will be scrambling to find a new idea in a rush.

How to Build Lean Muscle at a Mind Blowing Rate

What is the most important thing you can do at the gym to ensure that you will continually build lean muscle?

It's very simple. The most important thing you can do each and every single time you go to the gym if you want to build muscle is to try to set a PR (personal record) on every lift you do. That's it. What this means is that you should always be trying do either do more reps with the same weight (within reason, any sets above 12 on most upper body exercises and 15-20 reps on lower body exercises will do nothing to stimulate muscle growth) or more weight for the same number of reps. Doing the same thing that you have done in a previous workout will do absolutely nothing to help you build lean muscle. The first time you apply a new stress to the body it will adapt by building itself up bigger and stronger. But when it faces that exact same stress again the next time, it will be prepared for it and thus will not adapt again. This is why you have to go up in either weight or reps and try to set a new PR.

Powerlifters and weightlifters continually try to set PR's in contests. They also do this in training by testing their one rep maxes every few weeks or months. But setting PR's does not have to be relegated to singles. You should try to set six rep PR's, ten rep PR's and twenty rep PR's. If you are really serious about your desire to build lean muscle, you always have to be improving. To do this you have to keep detailed records of everything you do in a training journal and always look back at it so you have a goal to shoot for at every workout and on every set you do.

If you really want to build lean muscle, no set should ever be done without the goal of setting a PR. The only exceptions are prehab exercises and times when you are rehabbing from an injury. If you continually try to set PR's on everything you do it gives your workout a much greater purpose and meaning. Not only that but it is a thousand times more fun than just mindlessly going through the motions trying to get a pump. Suddenly your workout becomes something that has quantifiable results that can be measured each and every single time you set foot in the gym. What could be more motivating than that? Chasing PR's also eliminates all the useless junk volume that most people end up doing after they have finished their main exercises.

Even if you start your workout with big exercises like chin ups and military presses and set new eight rep PR's on those, it doesn't mean that when you get to the little exercises and the end like hammer curls and pushdowns that should forget the principle and just do whatever it takes to get a pump. On the contrary, you should still be trying to set a new eight, ten or twelve rep PR on both of those exercises as well.

Forget about adding more sets, decreasing your rest periods and supersetting for a while because none of those approaches will ever help you build lean muscle at a mind blowing rate. If you want to really ramp up the speed at which you build lean muscle and strength, start trying to set PR's on every lift you do and get ready to be blown away by the results you achieve and how much more enjoyable your training will become.

If you want to build muscle fast there are a few very important factors you need to be aware of. First of all, if you have less than Herculean genetics you need to be sure to avoid overtraining. There are several different ways to do this which are listed below.

• Don't do more than 12-15 sets per workout.

Also, you need to be sure that you are using big, compound exercises like squats, deadlifts and chin ups with heavy weights. Don't waste your time with isolation exercises and pumping techniques that do nothing to help you build muscle fast.

Next, you need to be sure your diet is in order. This means that you are eating copious amounts of food every 2-3 hours. Going longer than this without a meal will impede your progress and you will never get huge. You should be focusing on organic whole foods such as grains, fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds for the majority of your calories. The rest of your intake should be made up of clean sources of protein like eggs and fish.

Another thing that will help you build muscle fast is paying the utmost attention to your recovery. You should be getting as much rest as possible which includes sleeping a minimum of eight hours per night and hopefully even taking a short nap during the day. Another thing that can boost your recovery ability is regular massage. This can be a real massage from a masseuse or just a simple self massage with a foam roller or tennis ball. Either way you do it will help tremendously, just be sure to do it.

Although most people overlook its importance, stretching is another crucially important component of a good muscle building program. Stretching can help tight muscles grow more efficiently and can even help prevent injuries in certain instances. If you don't do any stretching now, I highly recommend that you start. You will be pleasantly surprised by the results, I'm sure.

How to Properly Evict a Tenant

There is nothing more frustrating as a landlord, at least to me anyway, when the first of the month rolls around and the rent doesn't show up. You wait a few days and it still doesn't arrive. You put a phone call into your tenant, and you get excuses ranging from, "I am a little behind this month, I will have it out as soon as possible" to "I sent, didn't you get it?". As if had you did receive it, you have nothing else better to do then call your tenant for money they don't owe you.

It is very frustrating, but the sad reality is, no matter how great the homework you do and initial screening of your tenant, you just can't predict what they will do with the money they make. Nor will anyone ever understand why they case of beer of carton of cigarettes they go through everyweek is more important than keeping a roof over their head.

So the time has come for you to begin the eviction proceedings. It is not that difficult of a process when done correctly. The key words there are "done correctly". When done by the way by which your state has defined the laws for the process, it will be smooth. You do it incorrectly and you may have a tenant living there for a long time with no obligation to pay their rent.

Below I am going to give my steps I take to evict a tenant. If you feel uncomfortable doing this, I recommend hiring an attorney in your area that specializes in this. The cost will be higher than if you did it yourself, but if piece of mind is more important than standing in front of a judge, then hire an attorney.

The first thing you want to do is make sure your lease clearly outlines the date by which you must receive the rent, and you must stick to that date. There is no give here. If the lease says it must be in your hand by the first of the month, then it needs to be in your hand by the first of the month. The second day is considered late and late fees will apply.

I normally wait 3 days from the due date to send out my eviction notice letter. This is a letter that states in the utmost professional language, that I have not received their rent payment, and that if I do not receive it by the 15th of the month, the eviction process will begin. All of this is also outlined in the lease, but I put it in writing again as it will carry more weight in court when you show the judge you gave them a chance to make due what they owe.

You will need to check the laws in your area to see what the proper statutes are for the eviction process. In my location you can file immediately, however I know in other areas you have to wait 45 days. Check with your local county courthouse or housing department.

If the tenant does not respond by the 15th with what they owe, and anything less than what is due in full is not acceptable, go down to the courthouse in the town where your property is located and fill out the paperwork to begin the legal process. They will help you through it in making sure it is filled out properly, or at least they should. The cost to file is usually around $25, but it may be more or less depending upon where you live.

Once that is filed, you should receive in the mail a notice as to when your court date is so the judge will hear both sides. Your tenant will receive this same notification, and going by what I have seen in my area, the court doesn't care if the tenant or the landlord receives the letter. Your date is set and both parties are to be there. Should you not show (in my area anyway), the judge dismisses the case. If the tenant does not show, an judgment for the landlord is given and you can begin the next step in removing the tenant.

Once the court appearance has finished and you receive a judgment in your favor to legally remove the tenant, you will be instructed as to what the next step will be. Usually it is filing the paperwork with at the county courthouse to have your local sheriff's department remove the tenant. When the paperwork is filed, the sheriff will post an orange or some bright sign on the door letting the tenant know of the exact date they must move out.

If the tenant still resides in the property after that date, you will then go to the property with the Sheriff's department and they will be removed by them. Do not touch, harm or threaten the tenant. Doing this may cause you to start this process all over again. The sheriff is there for a reason. Let them do their jobs. They are really good at it.

Now that the tenant has been legally removed, the property is yours once again. Read my other article if they leave items in the house. You can not just simply throw them away. There is a legal process for that as well.

An eviction can and will go smoothly if you follow all of necessary steps and do it properly. Once you go through the process once, it becomes much easier. Hopefully you won't have to do it too often, or if luck is on your side, at all.

10 Steps to a Winning Dating Profile Headline

When you post a profile on an online dating site, there are three parts that viewers will see: your picture, your headline, and your profile. Each one serves a distinct purpose, but in my opinion, the picture and the headline are the most important.

Research shows that you only have 5 seconds to grab someone's attention.

People are superficial and we are drawn to things that catch our attention. I have previously written about the importance of your written profile and how you should focus on it when starting out. I firmly stand by that, but if you can't get someone to click onto it to read it, it won't matter what you write.

Think about articles you read in a paper or magazine. What is it that usually draws you in? It's the headline and the picture. Many a great article has been written and never read because the headline doesn't draw people in.

I want to focus on creating a great headline for your online dating profile. Here are a few tips that you should focus on.

1. Keep it between 3-7 words. Anything longer than that tends to lose the reader.

2. Avoid Clichés. The goal is to come up with something unique and original. You want to differentiate yourself from all the others. Take a stroll around your dating site and take a tally of how many times you see the following:

  • Looking for Mrs. Right
  • Looking for My Knight in Shining Amour
  • I can't believe I'm doing this
  • This isn't something I'd normally do

Using a headline like these just want set you apart from others.

3. Avoid negativity. Portray a positive image in your headline. Although you may be LonleyLady or LookingForLove, you don't need to announce it. It implies you're a weak person, and many will avoid people they see as weak.

4. Incorporate your hobbies or interests. This headline is supposed to tell others something about you. What better way to do that than to come up with a quick snippet of what you like to do. Feel free to use your college, favorite sports team, restaurant, or local hang out in the title.

Here's a few examples:

  • Meet me at Starbucks?
  • Join me for a Walk on the Beach...
  • Small Talk & a bottle of Merlot. Interested?
  • Steeler Fan Looking for a Tailgating buddy
  • Let's Go Ride our Harley's

5. Pick a song lyric or a line from a movie.

  • "Some people call me a Space Cowboy..."

6. Unless you are joining an "adult" site, avoid all sexual innuendo. If it's sex you're selling, those are the only responses you'll get back.

7. Feel free to switch it up. Come up with a couple different headlines and change them every few weeks. Keep track of which ones work best and get rid of the ones that don't.

8. As with everything in your profile, make sure that you spell everything correctly. If you're not sure how to spell a word, then just don't use it. Otherwise, make sure to look it up in an online dictionary.

9. Avoid Capitals. In the online world, using all capitals is considered "yelling" and is considered to be rude behavior.

10. Use (...) to end your headline. I've done a lot of research on headlines and my success rate is twice as high when I end a phrase with (...). That's three dots. It gives the reader the impression that there is more to the story, but they need to click to find out more. What have you got to lose.
